Hi there! I'm Maryam, a UX/UI designer based in Kamloops, British Columbia.

After finishing my Master's in Business Economics, I started working in clothing production, focusing on creating comfortable and functional workwear that met customer needs. By listening closely to their feedback, I learned how to design user-friendly clothing that benefited both the customer and the business.

While working there, I gathered customer feedback about the website and relayed it to the development team, enhancing the user experience. This experience sparked my interest in UX design. For the past two years, I've honed my skills as a UX/UI designer, working on both designing and redesigning products. I've also had the privilege of leading teams of designers. It’s an opportunity to create experiences that are not only smooth and functional but also leave a lasting positive impact on users—a field that perfectly blends my love for empathy, communication, problem-solving, and business.
